After admission, students will be issued an identity card, which they will keep in their possession and produce whenever required for student privileges, concessions etc. The cards are to be renewed every year and returned after completion of the course or on leaving the institute.
The students in their own interest should read the notice board everyday. New developments, all information and other important announcements shall be displayed on the notice board.
The classes are held in two shifts- 10A.M. to 2:00 P.M. (for non-working students) and 2:00P.M. to 3:30 P.M. (for working students). The academic calendar listing holidays and tentative dates of examinations will be put up on the notice board.
All students shall regularly attend lectures and practicals beginning from the first day of instruction. Each student should have a minimum of 80% attendance to be eligible to appear in the examination.
The stationary and other material for theory and practical work has to be brought by the student. The polytechnic has full right to keep the students work for use in exhibitions or any other purpose. Thesis/project report submitted by the final year students will be submitted in two copies and one copy will be kept by the institute. The students are required to bring their own material for all practical examinations.
Home work assigned to each student should be submitted within the required time. In case of absence of student, it is her duty to enquire about the home work given. All the work should be submitted on the dates assigned. No work will be accepted after expiry of the date of submission. Marks will be deducted for late submission of assignments.
All equipment and tools are to be handled with care. Any loss due to damage or breakage will be borne by the students.
