Success has some elements as quality, hard work, knowledge of latest technology. We here in S.D.Polytechnic prepare students by incorporating these qualities in them. The institute was established in 1978 as S.D. Girls Polytechnic  for imparting technical education to the girls of muzaffarnagar. In the year 2001 polytechnic got affiliation with Board of Technical Education (U.P.) & approval from A.I.C.T.E. as co-educational institution with a name "S.D Polytechnic". Till date it has been moving up on success ladder. Today the Polytechnic is on the way of progress, for which I am grateful to Late Sh. Mahendra Kumar Ji (advocate), who was the founder of the institution and also to the S.D.College of association and all the members of management committee of the Polytechnic.

S.D Polytechnic is now entering in 11th year of its establishment and this is a matter of proud for the Polytechnic. For all the courses of Polytechnic, we have experienced teaching staff and every year the result graph is going up. This is the result of hard work, discipline and the dedication of the teachers and other staff. We are preparing the students to meet the increasing demands of experts in the market. S.D.Polytechnic is working hard and at its best to move ahead on the path of success and glory.
